Ghosts Season 4 Is About to Introduce a Game-Changing Character
The cutest ghost we’ve seen so far.
Though many thought CBS' Ghosts was a copycat of the British sitcom with the same title and vaguely the same premise, the series has grown into a fun adventure of its own, with several key differences from the original source that make it even more fun and exciting to watch.
Currently, the show has already aired 3 seasons and has been renewed for a fourth. And all those who survived the long wait are about to be rewarded with some exciting updates and new additions to the cast that no one saw coming.
Ghosts Season 4 New Characters
As co-showrunners Joe Wiseman and Joe Port revealed to TVLine in an interview at San Diego Comic-Con, there will be some exciting additions to the ghostly gang we've gotten to know over the past three seasons of the show.
Of course, as revealed during a panel, Mary Holland will be joining the show to portray the pilgrim ghost Patience. Viewers will also finally get to meet Samantha's father, portrayed by none other than Breaking Bad 's Dean Norris.
Ghosts season 4 will be game-changing in more ways than one, now that Pete is no longer confined to the Woodstone compound and can bring home some unexpected guests. But that's not the only surprise in store for viewers. Season 4 of the popular comedy series is about to introduce its cutest character yet.
“We’re gonna meet an animal ghost for the first time. <...> A very small animal. It’s going to become sort of a ghost pet,” Wiseman and Port teased.
The promise of some new characters and a big Halloween and Christmas celebration at the manor make the upcoming season even more exciting for all fans of the series. From what we can already gather, season 4 is going to be as rich and eventful as all the previous ones, and, of course, bring a lot of joy to its viewers.
CBS Ghost season 4 will premiere on October 17, 2024, so be sure to mark your calendars and tune in to the scariest comedy out there. Until then, you can always stream the first three seasons of the show on Paramount Plus.
