Too bad, everyone can see it coming already.

For several months now, General Hospital has been trying to make sense of the weird triangle between Kristina, Molly and TJ. When the three of them suddenly wanted to become parents but were unable to conceive, they had to try using a surrogate. Although hesitant at first, they accepted Kristina's candidacy.

While it was obvious where this storyline would lead in the future, General Hospital made it even clearer now. The final episode of Port Charles' baby boom era will drive two sisters even further apart, and we will all have to watch.

Will Kristina Give the Baby to Molly and TJ?

Just like any other surrogate, Kristina is expected to give her newborn baby to her biological parents, Molly and TJ. However, General Hospital viewers can already sense that this won't be the case. Kristina, who is already overly attached to the baby, is likely to end up in a custody battle.

From the beginning, some viewers have suspected that this is exactly where the storyline will lead. As predictable as this turn of events is, Kristina and Molly's conflict at the beginning of this journey wasn't nearly enough for the soap's standard of drama, and it had something bigger in store for both sisters.

Aside from longing for motherhood, Molly will have one of the most valid concerns on the entire show. Given the state Sonny has been in lately, any child should be taken away and protected from him. So if the baby stays with Kristina, it's already in danger, and Molly won't be able to overlook that.

As expected, the messiest storyline of 2024 is about to get even messier as Molly and Kristina fight over the life of a child. None of the possible outcomes of this story can end well, so the only hope is that TJ will act as the voice of reason and the Ashford child will somehow end up safe.

If you still don't believe that the child is going to set two sisters adrift and want General Hospital to take an unexpected turn in this arc, be sure to tune in Monday through Friday on ABC to not miss another episode.
