Game of Thrones Star Hilariously Recreating Twilight Is What Doctor Cullen Ordered
Some classics are even better with a spin.
The Twilight saga manages to live on even though the movie series ended in 2012, having found a second life in memes and jokes from Gen Z who seem to absolutely love the story... in their own unique way.
Many Twilight fans today admit they love the series ironically, at least to some extent, but Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams took the irony to the next level. She decided to join the plethora of social media influencers who mocked the notorious vampire saga, recreating the most famous scenes.
Williams chose to do a twist on the cooking scene from the first movie, when the Cullen family tried their best to welcome Bella into their home for the first time. They cooked "Italiano" for her, and exchanged phrases like "molto bene" and "buongiorno" — in the most cringe-worthy way possible.
The Arya Stark actress did her best to absolutely nail it — from the signature "towel hair" to the Twilight characters' mannerisms.
Williams portrayed almost every character in the scene, and some fans jokingly noted she managed to act even better that the actors in the original movies. And the way her Rosalie drops that bowl with fruits on the floor? Priceless.
In another video, Williams and her friends recreate another iconic Twilight scene — the Cullen family baseball game, which doesn't need any introduction.
