1. Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf
Release Date: April 2
A remake of the fan-favorite 2008 anime Spice and Wolf created by Imagine studio. In the story, Lawrence, a merchant who travels trading spices and grains, returns to his beloved village.
Due to the modernization of households, the villagers have lost faith in a deity called Holo, a wolf spirit who for centuries protected their crops from wild animal attacks, cold, and drought. Now the people believe only in themselves and the miracles of agronomy.
Before Lawrence leaves, he accidentally encounters a wolf in the form of a girl. She asks the merchant to take her with him on his journey, and together they get into various troubles, try to make money by trading, fight off criminals, talk about faith, life and everything in the world.
The first episode has already been released and received high ratings, so this anime is definitely worth watching.
