From Kingpin to Kraven: Fans Reveal Dream Villains for Spider-Man 4
Spider-Man fans are at it again, this time with their hot takes on what the fourth installment starring Tom Holland should look like.
After the head of Marvel, Kevin Feige, confirmed that work is underway for the fourth Spider-Man movie, fans took to social media to share their ideas about what could be the next big thing for Peter Parker.
One of the most common requests from fans is that the new trilogy should focus on down-to-earth storytelling and bring together some iconic characters from the Marvel universe. Fans are especially excited to see Peter team up with the lawyer-turned-vigilante Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox.
With the Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) as the villain, it could make for an epic showdown that fans would definitely not want to miss – after all, Tom and Charlie already proved on the big screen that their dynamic is fun to watch.
But that's not all, of course. Other villains who fans hope to see in the new trilogy include Venom and Scorpion, both of whom have appeared in some capacity in the Marvel/Sony Cinematic Universe. Fans are throwing around the idea of Kingpin hiring Scorpion and giving him the Venom symbiote suit, leading to a transformation into a supervillain that would explain the need for a Spider-Man/Daredevil team-up.
Other characters fans would love to see in Spider-Man 4 include Kraven the Hunter, the clone of Peter Parker known as Ben Reilly, and Black Cat (Felicia Hardy). The fans are clearly not holding back on their suggestions for the next film in the franchise.
It's clear that the fans are passionate about what they want to see in the next Spider-Man film, and it will be interesting to see which of their ideas come to fruition. Spider-Man 4 doesn't have a release date as of yet.
