These hidden gems will definitely make your day way funnier.

It's no wonder that when we're feeling down and need something easy to cheer us up, we turn to the sitcoms we've seen a million times and know all the lines by heart. The cringe-worthy humor of The Office makes you forget about all the problems in your real life, and all the silly shenanigans of the main quartet in Seinfeld make the absurdity of life so obvious that it's actually relieving.

But we suggest you give some other new shows a chance to brighten your day. Diehard K-drama fans know that when you need a good laugh, nothing beats a good old comedy K-drama with the silliest scenes ever. So here are ten perfect series to binge on in search of a big laugh.

1. Welcome to Waikiki (2018)

All the experts in the South Korean TV industry mention this K-drama as the funniest thing they have ever seen on TV. Well, it's pretty easy to believe that when you know the premise of the show.

The series revolves around three friends whose lives are tied up around a guesthouse called Waikiki. They all have their own dreams, but can't figure out how to make them come true. Their lives get a lot more complicated when a woman with a baby arrives at Waikiki and adds more pressure.

“I had a fever when I started watching this and by the end, I had already laughed away my sickness. Proved to me that laughter is the best medicine,” Redditor snowboo27 said.

2. Mr Queen (2020)

What fans like about the show is of course the fantasy storyline and the overall narrative, but Shin Hye Sun's performance, they believe, is what sets this show apart from other Korean comedies.

This K-drama focuses on the life of Jang Bong Hwan, a modern day chef who accidentally travels back in time and ends up in the body of a woman. And not just any woman, but a queen! Now he must do whatever it takes to survive in his new political reality.

3. Gaus Electronics (2022)

It seems that the marketing department of Gaus Electronics is always stressed and ready to leave. The series focuses on several members of the team, such as Lee Sang Sik, a typical good guy of the company, who often ends up in awkward situations because he can't read the room. Or Cha Na Rae, who can never hide her true feelings. Long story short, there are so many people who wouldn't survive a day together in any other situation, but in this company they only have each other.

4. Behind Your Touch (2023)

This recently released drama tells the story of Bong Ye Bun, who works as a dedicated veterinarian in a small town. But she has a secret: when she touches a certain part of a person or an animal, she can see their past.

One day she meets Moon Jang Yeol, a very successful detective from Seoul, who was sent to the same town where our female lead lives. He wants to move back, so together they try to make it happen.

5. Prison Playbook (2017)

After spending too much time with people who actually care about him, he starts to change and becomes the best version of himself.

7. The Fiery Priest (2019)

The fans of this K-drama point out that the story is not uncomplicated and comedic per se, but it definitely has many hilarious scenes that will make you laugh hard. The series focuses on the life of Kim Hae Il, and many would assume that just being a priest makes him a good person, but they will be surprised to find out who he really is.

8. Move to Heaven (2021)
