Get ready to fall in love.

There’s something about the old time movies that just make you feel different. They have something, an unusual vibe, that makes you fall in love with the story instantly and root for the characters, even if they are a little cartoonishly crafted.

One of the most popular, if not legendary, movies of the 60s is definitely Breakfast at Tiffany’s, released in 1961. It’s a romantic comedy drama featuring the one and only Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, a young, naive and a little cynical woman, who spends her mornings window-shopping at Tiffany’s.

The movie is a staple of rom-coms, as it focuses on the main character in denial that she is in love with a young man from her building, but she eventually gives in. The movie has a huge following and Hepburn is absolutely adored in it, but there's another movie from the 60's with her that's much better.

The 1966 crime thriller/comedy is called How to Steal a Million. The two hour black and white movie features Audrey Hepburn as Nicole Bonnet, a daughter of an art forger (known in the society as an honest collector) who wants her father to step away from the risky business, and Peter O'Toole as Simon Dermott, a charming burglar.

The two of them team up to steal one of her father's forgeries and save him from jail. She has to steal the fake statue from the museum that thinks it’s an original, but she can never do it alone: she needs the help of a pro, so here comes Dermott. The movie is a brilliant adventure of two people forming an unlikely alliance, no wonder it has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Very fun movie that hits on all cylinders. Audrey and O'Toole have terrific chemistry and it's nice to see her with someone her own age for a change. Very funny, particularly in the initial burglary sequence. Excellent PD and cinematography, Audrey's masquerade costume is one of her best,” Redditor CountJohn12 said.
