According to fans, some singers are better off not going into TV territory.

Kane Brown began making music in 2014. In October 2017, he became the first singer in history to have a hit song debut at number one on five Billboard charts across the country at the same time.

But now he is known not only as a fine country singer, but also as an actor, as Kane made a cameo appearance in season 1, episode 18 of Fire Country.

In the episode, a train crashes into a bus full of teenagers on their way to prom. Brown plays a tramp called Robin who acts a bit mysterious.

Kane's character rushes to the aid of the fire brigade and then gives Bode a bag full of money.

Such an act makes Bode wonder if Robin is a pseudonym – part of the name Robin Hood – and if the character steals money from the rich to give to those who really need it.

Kane appears in the show not only as a guest star, but also as singer – his song Different Man is featured in the episode.

This is not the first time the singer has worked with Fire Country, as another of his songs Riot was featured in one of the promos for the series.

Although the singer only appeared in two brief scenes, his presence was not well received by fans of the series, to say the least.

Many people feel that his character was an unnecessary addition to the episode, and Brown's acting is not up to scratch.

"And that's country singer Kane Brown with a terrible debut acting appearance. I did not get the point of his character at all," Reddit user digitalcalamity commented.

Others believe that Brown's appearance on the show is a mutually beneficial publicity stunt, as evidenced by how pointless the character of Kane turned out to be.

"It was clearly just "get a big name and hype it" rather than creating an actual character," Reddit user nylanderfan added.

Some believe Kane's character will return to unravel the mystery of the money and confirm or disprove the Robin Hood theory.

Fans will be able to find out very soon, with the 19th episode of Fire Country's being released on April 21.
