Nothing beats stability, or is there always a place for change?

The Fast and the Furious franchise is famous for its traditions. There is always something familiar you can count on while watching any part of the movie.

So when the news about the upcoming Fast X hit the Internet, the fandom sighed with relief.

The Fast X will be the penultimate part of the saga and will hint at the end of the journey of Dom Toretto and his family.

The villain of the new movie is Jason Momoa's character Dante Reyes, who is actually the son of the crew's old enemies who has returned for the sake of his family, because of course.

So when the first images from the new movie were released, the fans wanted them to have something to look forward to in the film. But instead they only got confused…

The thing is, there were three pictures released by Total Film (via GamesRadar).

The first one shows us Dom in the middle of a crowd, the second one depicts Dante glaring in an unknown town, and the last one (actually the one we are interested in) shows Dom and Tess (the newcomer to the saga Brie Larson) sharing a drink.

Old-timers will remember the iconic line that Dom says as he hands the beer to Brian in the opening of the very first Fast & Furious movie. "You can have any brew you want...as long as it's a Corona."

And that line has since become an essential part of the movie's identity.

"Corona saw its zenith in The Fast & The Furious, but it got a massive push in Furious 7 when Dom famously turned down delicious Belgian beer in favor of a bucket of Corona.

Corona and the Fast world have become synonymous with each other and have built a beautiful world in which nobody gets drunk or gains weight due to excessive drinking," Reddit user LundgrensFrontKick said.

But the newly released images don't feature the famous beer in it.. Instead, Tess is holding something else in her hands. So what does it mean?

Are they just teasing us, and the beer is yet to appear in the movie? Or did they really break one of the most important traditions of the franchise?

If the latter is true, what else do we have to prepare ourselves for – no "family" quote in the movie?
