They are even more senseless than that space scene.

The Fast and Furious franchise has been a global phenomenon for more than a decade, captivating viewers with its thrilling car chases and charismatic characters.

However, even the most dedicated fans of the series can't deny that there are enough plot holes that have slipped through the cracks.

From questionable character dialogues to plot inconsistencies, here are scenes from the Fast and Furious movies that make no sense.

Time Inconsistencies

The timeline of the Fast and Furious movies can be sometimes confusing. Characters seem to age differently, and the passage of time is ofte n inconsistent.

For example, Dom's son, Brian, grows up quickly between movies, and in Fast X he is a full-fledged teenage boy, even though only a short amount of time has passed between this story and the previous parts.

Or the time gap between the movies. Tokyo Drift seemed to be an independent story that happened right after the first two parts but somehow ended up being incorporated as events after Fast & Furious 6. It doesn't sit right with us.

Invincibility

The main characters, especially Dom and his crew, often survive seemingly impossible situations without much consequence.

They walk away from massive explosions, crashes, and even falls from great heights, making their invincibility a recurring plot hole.

The Fast and Furious franchise is known for its over-the-top stunts, but some of them push the boundaries of physics a little too far.

From cars driving on skyscrapers to cars literally flying in the air or even in space. And we know that race cars are high-level safe, but shouldn't they break down from all that overwork?

The Whole Elena Thing

Don't get us wrong, she was a very likable character, but this whole love triangle with an illegitimate baby was unnecessary.

Elena could be perfect for Dom, but you can't break up one of the most powerful couples in movie history just like that.

As soon as Letti returned, Elena fell by the wayside. She admitted it herself — Letti and the crew are his family, there was simply no place for her and there never could be.

From Enemies To Lovers

One of the main tropes in the Fast & Furious Franchise. The Toretto family has this unique power to turn even an inveterate enemy into a friend.

All the FBI agents, once haunting them, now turn their backs on the law and defend the crew (and even make babies with them).

A long-lost brother, once motivated by revenge, suddenly sides with the family, or a major villain becomes bored with his rage against Dom and the crew and goes underground. The power this family holds...
