Nothing is impossible on this show.

Summary:

  • Fargo is a black comedy crime drama inspired by the Coen brothers’ movie of the same name.
  • Season 5 of the show is nearing the finale now, with one episode left to be released on January 16.
  • Lamorne Morris teases the final episode to be the most insane of all the audience has seen so far.

If there's one thing viewers have learned from Fargo in the 10 years the show has been on our screens, it's to always expect the unexpected. Known for all the craziest twists and turns, Fargo continues to raise the bar of production quality and is set to leave its current season 5 on a banger.

Despite all the obvious similarities with previous seasons of the show, many viewers have found to enjoy Fargo season 5 far more than the rest due to some changes in the writing. The lack of deaths in the first part of the season only helped to keep up the suspense for the second part.

Now that there’s only one episode left, the viewers are set to prepare for yet another crazy ride. As there is no official confirmation of whether the show is going to get renewed for season 6, this episode may as well become final for the whole series too.

What Is Going To Happen On Fargo S5 Finale?

According to Lamorne Morris’ most recent Variety interview, there are a whole lot of award-worthy performances awaiting the viewers in the finale.

Known for its ever-changing celebrity-packed cast, Fargo is to surprise the audience with a mind-blowing experience once again, and this one may as well be an experience with no match within the show.

“I don’t want to spoil anything, but it might be the wildest. I can tell you, a lot of actors on this show deserve some awards. Juno Temple, Sam Spruell, Jon Hamm, Jennifer — everybody on this show,<...> I would just tell the audience to watch out for great performances, and the story gets wild. It definitely gets crazy,” the actor said.

Episode 9 of season 5 was a testament to the last statement, with pretty much all of the characters in Dot's camp coming together. Since Roy is so used to deciding and handling everything that goes on in this town on his own, he now feels backed into a corner with no way out that won't cause more chaos.

To see how the twisted tale of Dot's kidnapping that rocked suburban Minnesota ends, be sure to tune in to FX on Tuesday, January 16 for the final episode of Fargo season 5. Keep an eye out for more news and behind-the-scenes updates to be the first to know when Fargo is renewed or canceled at the end of the season.
