Fans Want This Young Sheldon Character to Die Next Season (No, It's Not George)

In The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon has repeatedly talked about his list of mortal enemies, and we know that Billy Sparks and Tam Nguyen from the prequel are on it at one point or another.

One Young Sheldon character perfectly fits the description of someone Sheldon would consider a mortal enemy, but they are not on there. In fact, they are never mentioned in the original show.

Why does adult Sheldon never talk about Paige in The Big Bang Theory? She was once a huge part of his life, and yet her presence in his childhood was never acknowledged.

Fans seem to believe that Paige is dead by the time Sheldon's adventures with the gang start, and since season 7 of Young Sheldon may turn out to be its last, they want the writers to kill her off on-screen.

While that would be uncharacteristically cruel for a sitcom, it might be a fitting end to Paige's tragic life story. Another child prodigy goes rogue because she couldn't live up to society's expectations.

By season 6, Paige had gone completely wild – drinking, running away from home, and hanging out with older strangers.

This couldn't end well for her, especially since she doesn't see the error of her ways and thinks she is just having fun. Well, the fun has to come to a halt sometime.

Other fans hope for a happier ending for Paige. Maybe she opts out of academia for good and chooses to live a normal life, which makes Sheldon disappointed in her, and that's why he never mentions her in TBBT.

Paige may also grow up to be an engineer (we know how much Sheldon hates them), and they may have a falling out spanning decades.

Narrator Sheldon, who has grown up a lot, could eventually say that he and Paige have reconnected and all is well in the final scene featuring her.

We hope that the writers give Paige some sort of closure in the end. After all, she has come to be an important character for the show.
