When an iconic franchise or TV show comes to an end, many fans band together to produce more content to keep the legacy alive for years to come. This has been the case with both Twilight and Supernatural, as the two have extremely active fandoms that keep the discussion going no matter how many years have passed since the credits rolled.

Turns out, there are many more similarities between Supernatural and Twilight to uncover, other than the immaculate fan activity.

As one of the viewers pointed out on X (formerly known as Twitter) Sam Winchester and Bella Swan seem to share the same wardrobe, or at least a similar sense of style.

Of course, given the height difference between 6′ 4″ Jared Padalecki and the much shorter Kristen Stewart, it's unlikely they have the exact same pieces, but the trend is obviously noticeable.

Lots of distressed denim, plaid shirts and comfy tees seem to be the most popular items for both characters. While Bella rocks this style to school, Sam needs enough stretch and movement to fight the demons. However, fans argue that there may be another very simple explanation.

Although both Supernatural and Twilight are set somewhere in the US, the filming was actually done in Canada. For Supernatural, this was the case for most of the series, while Twilight only visited a few Canadian locations, but that could have been enough to get some style inspiration.

All of these items are also staples in every Canadian wardrobe, so that would explain the similarities. Whether this is the case or not, we may never know. For all we know, this little observation could be enough to spark the creativity of both fandoms and produce some of the craziest crossover fanfiction ideas we deserve.
