Fans Rally Against Multiverse of Madness Writer Working on Secret Wars
The writing for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has received mixed responses, to say the least.
The writer behind Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Michael Waldron, might be involved in writing of Avengers: Secret Wars — and it's not an announcement that fans are excited to hear.
Many people have already started voicing protest to Waldron being a part of the sixth Avenger installment, citing his questionable writing for Multiverse of Madness. Back at the time when the Doctor Strange sequel premiered, the movie was quickly grilled by fans over the storyline and the character development.
One of the issues that fans took with Waldron's writing was the sudden evolution of Scarlet Witch into a full-scale villain even though many people believed that did not make much sense as she could reach her goals by simply bending some of the multiverse rules instead of going on a killing spree.
Now that Waldron, according to Deadline, is set to pen Secret Wars, fans are rallying online in order for the studio to hear them out and change the writer before it's not too late.
Twitter user felixw1 suggested that Waldron might have some "dirt" on Feige given that the Marvel Studios president keeps hiring him despite the criticism for his writing.
However, some people defended Waldron and urged everyone not to cast someone away purely because of one controversial project.

Many believe that Waldron is good when it comes to TV shows, but the movies are simply not his strongest side. But there might be one thing to be happy about Secret Wars.

Marvel is yet to officially confirm Waldron as the writer behind Avengers: Secret Wars. The sixth Avengers movie is set to be released on November 7, 2025. With years ahead of the premiere, there is just enough time for the studio to make sure that everything is perfect — from the script to the CGI. Will it actually happen? That is another billion dollar question.
