Jacob Elordi, whose popularity skyrocketed after he portrayed grumpy 'Euphoria ' teenager Nate Jacobs, would not say a word about his character's future, but there's something he apparently would like to refrain from doing.

While telling Deadline that he fully trusts the show's creator Sam Levinson, Elordi also said that his "only hope is maybe I don't have to walk silently down a high school hallway again."

"I'm aging," he continued.

It's true that Nate's part in 'Euphoria' includes a lot of slowly walking down the school hallways, sporadically changing girlfriends. He also has to deal with his anger issues – and, notably, daddy issues, with the relationship with his father being one of the center points of 'Euphoria' season 2.

Elordi's comments about his character's future, however, seemed a little bit weird to fans, who felt like the actor did not enjoy playing Nate too much.

Some people imagined what would happen if the show's creators would not be happy with Elordi's comments.

After becoming a major hit on HBO Max, 'Euphoria' was greenlit for season 3, which is currently in early development and has no release date yet.
