Fans Feel Cheated By New 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Cut
An industry insider revealed the list of 5 deleted scenes that will be included in the upcoming extended 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' cut, and fans are feeling a little betrayed.
News that Sony will release a new version of 'No Way Home' this fall, with plenty of new scenes making the beloved blockbuster even funnier, came as a shock to the MCU fans ready to buy tickets to see Tom Holland 's new adventures as the titular superhero. But the truth seems to be much less exciting, as Amit Chaudhari appears to have revealed all the scenes on his Twitter.
While all of the aforementioned extended scenes sound pretty great, fans on Reddit couldn't help but notice that they will be included in the upcoming home version of 'No Way Home' too, making the whole idea of the upcoming theatrical re-release a bit fishy.
Some have rushed to accuse Sony and Disney of deliberately hiding content in order to make even more money at the box office.
Of course, other knowledgeable members of the Marvel community have argued with this, saying that the upcoming theatrical re-release will definitely include more than just these 5 scenes.
"I think people are assuming the deleted scenes from the home release are the only ones included in the theatrical re-release," – /ttwwaatt.
'Spider-Man: No Way Home' extended cut is slated to release on September 2, 2022.
