Fans Can't Wait For House of the Dragon to Bring Back Its Criminally Underrated Character
The stance, the armor, the loyalty: fans found a formula for the perfect character.
Just like Game Of Thrones, House Of The Dragon has given its fans many characters to love, hate, and root for in the coming war.
While most viewers have focused their attention on the main characters, such as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Alicent Hightower, or King Viserys I Targaryen, some notable characters may have slipped out of the spotlight.
Reddit found one such character to be Ser Harrold Westerling, portrayed by Graham McTavish.
Loyal to King Viserys I Targaryen and his daughter, young Princess Rhaenyra, fans feel he deserves much more recognition than he gets on the show.
Fortunately, since he is alive at the end of season 1, the situation could easily change and he can play a much bigger role in the upcoming season's storyline.
"His reaction to the Green Council's ploys was so satisfying. Another truly honorable lord of Westeros, Ser Harold Westerling will forever have my favor," Redditor Thehorselord89 said, remembering their favorite moments of Ser Westerling from the show.
While some argue that the only reason this character is alive is to satisfy the fanbase, and if the show followed the books any more closely, he'd be dead by now, others just can't stop wanting more of him.
After all, Ser Harrold Westerling has yet to join Queen Rhaenyra and the blacks on screen, so there should be more to come.
For those of you who can't wait any longer and are dying to see Graham McTavish back on the big screen, we have some very good news.
McTavish has also starred in The Witcher, Outlander, The Preacher, and many other shows and movies that are worth checking out.
Since there is no official release date for House Of The Dragon yet, you might want to check them out first.
