Fan Theory Suggests a Chilling Sam Raimi-Style Twist for 'WandaVision'
The well-known horror movie director has already sent some chills down Marvel fans' spines after offering his take on the Doctor Strange sequel.
If Sam Raimi was the director behind Marvel's pioneering TV show 'WandaVision', it would have had an even more disturbing twist, fans believe. What if Vision in the series was actually in a corporeal form but essentially… dead?
We all got a little jump-scared when Vision's corpse actually made an appearance in 'WandaVision' as Wanda started to realize that the city of Westview does not feel particularly real.
Still, 'WandaVision' involved no zombies, as Vision was only created by Wanda's traumatized mind as she was not able to cope with losing him after battling Thanos. Sam Raimi, in turn, has brought some walking dead vibes to Marvel after letting Doctor Strange control his own zombie in 'Multiverse of Madness'. So who on Earth would have stopped Raimi from doing something similar in 'WandaVision'?
In fact, many fans have been suspecting a similar twist in 'WandaVision' as it was ongoing, fearing that Wanda might have to re-assemble Vision's corpse to always have him by her side in Westview. And some people feel lucky that did not turn out to be the case.
By the way, Vision did not appear in 'Multiverse of Madness', with Wanda barely mentioning him in the beginning and never looking for him in the alternate dimensions. So maybe Raimi will still have a chance to let someone control his corpse if he signs up for directing another Marvel movie.
