Famous Bridgerton Glow Up May End With Season 3, Fans Believe

It's hard to deny that when we watch period romances, historical accuracy is often left behind in favor of painting a pretty picture. Professionals in costume, hair, and makeup design do a wonderful job on every set, making the main characters the most attractive people you have ever seen. And Bridgerton is proud of this idea.

Instrumental covers aside, Bridgerton's famous glow up, also known on social media as the ‘Bridgerton Effect’, is a reason for the show to go viral every new season. Both Anthony Bridgerton, who led the show in season 2, and Colin Bridgerton, who's currently leading season 3, have gone through it. However, the tradition may end with them.

Who Bridgerton Season 4 Is Going to Be About?

Even though the fans don’t have a confirmation about who’s going to be the next season’s lead, they have their guess. So far, the most possible contenders are Benedict, Eloise, or Francesca Brodgerton. No matter which one of them ends up in the lead, chances are they won’t even get this glow up.

The show has been doing this primarily to the male leading characters. The only female character who went through such a transformation was Penelope Featherington, and these changes were a big part of her storyline, which isn’t the case for either Eloise or Francesca. That leaves fans with Benedict. And Benedict’s fans are very much against any change.

A big part of Anthony Bridgerton's transformation was getting rid of his sideburns from season 1, which many fans hated even though they were quite accurate for the time period. Colin's transformation was a change in clothing style, haircut, and a more muscular appearance than he had in season 2.

Sure, the professionals behind all these changes can probably think of a thing or two to make Benedict even more attractive to fans, but no one really wants or needs it. Since season 1, Benedict's wit and artistic nature mixed with Luke Thompson's perfect comedic timing have made him a fan favorite, so it would be a shame if the show messed him up.
