Colter Shaw’s personal life is definitely what’s missing in the whole story.

Tracker ’s season 1 is officially wrapped up after its finale aired earlier this week, and now there’s certainly a lot of intriguing things to come in the next installment.

While the second season has yet to reveal any official details to fans, the season 1 finale surely left the viewers on the hook with a major cliffhanger that Colter Shaw will need to deal with in the upcoming season.

Though the show’s biggest mystery will most likely take up most of the future storyline, there’s another aspect of Colter’s life that needs to be brought to life, and it has something to do with the series’ overlooked character.

The first season’s ending proved that Colter has no chance while he keeps escaping his family drama and it’s time to finally face it and make all the things clear. The next installment yet has to decide whether Colter’s estranged brother Russell is trustworthy when it comes to his constant denial of his role in their father’s death or if Colter and Russell’s mother indeed has something to do with her husband’s mysterious passing in the woods many years ago.

Yet, Colter has another, non-family person in his life who he needs to clarify things with, and it’s his hop-on hop-off girlfriend Reenie Greene.

Reenie appears in Tracker as a talented attorney who is supposed to assist Colter in legal issues of his work, but sometimes their relationship goes beyond business matters. In the show’s first episodes, it’s implied that Reenie and Colter had a brief romance before the first season picked up the storyline where Reenie helps Colter get out of jail.

Throughout the rest of the season, Reenie makes it pretty clear that she may still have some romantic feelings for Colter, though the latter is too involved in crossing the country to help its citizens to ever start thinking about his personal life.

Apart from her rocky relationship with Colter, Reenie leaves yet another mystery to be resolved in the next season as the first one doesn’t give any reasons why the character decided to quit her official job.

By the end of the season, it remains unclear whether she’s set for something else in her career or not, but it actually comes as a great opportunity for Reenie to become a permanent figure in Colter’s investigations.

Tracker’s season 2 will arrive at CBS this fall.
