When you become so annoying that no one wants you even on a show that has your name on it, that's another level of failure.

Young Sheldon started out as a show about The Big Bang Theory 's main nerd character, Sheldon Cooper, and his childhood.

It gave fans a glimpse into his past to understand why he turned out the way he did on the iconic nerd-centric show.

But as the years went by and Sheldon got older, Young Sheldon was not just a show about him, but rather a family comedy with a hinge of drama, where each family member has their own problems and their own world in general, not just related to the genius boy.

And unexpectedly, the fans like the changes in the show. They wanted to know more about each character, not just to see Sheldon's annoying behavior from episode to episode.

But rather to see how Georgie and Mindy's relationship problem will be resolved, or what future awaits Missy.

Beyond that, Sheldon's character has actually become so unbearable that it's really impossible to have him on the show anymore.

And that's the secret reason why everyone is so supportive of him going to Germany. The thing is, his scholarship is only partial, and it doesn't cover all the expenses, so he needs more money to go.

In season 6 episode 20 of the show, Sheldon is ready to give up on the trip when suddenly Dr. Linkletter and even Pastor Jeff come to his rescue with the money he desperately needs.

As it turns out, they have been raising money from the people at East Texas Tech and the church.

It's a funny scene because Sheldon thinks they did it out of love, but the sad truth is that no one on the show can take much more of his nonsense, so it's just easier to send him off to Germany.

This is almost a meta-comment on the public's criticism of how annoying the character was in Young Sheldon.

While Sheldon was always obnoxious, which was actually one of his trademarks on The Big Bang Theory, he became even more unlikable on his own show.

To the point where it would be better without him.

Two final episodes of Young Sheldon will air on May 18.
