The epic series’s brand new trailers show that two more fantastic creatures are about to join the royal battle.

House of the Dragon’s fans have been quite used to seeing these fabulous beasts all the way through even since Game of Thrones ’ Daenerys Targaryen introduced them in the original show.
Now that two separate trailers showing both sides of the upcoming war’s participants have been released, the fans have a better vision of the fantastic beasts that will help their masters in conquering the lands.
As the trailers show, the tension between two families fighting for the reign is rising pretty high — right up to the full-scale war decision — and this is where new dragons introduce themselves ahead of the epic battle. Fans have been quick to catch the Greens trailer’s Sunfyre that belongs to Aegon II, one of the potential pretenders to the throne.
As the House of the Dragon showrunner admitted that Sunfyre was described in the original book as the most beautiful dragon that had ever lived, which caused some bewilderment at first.
According to him, even though creating Sunfyre was quite challenging, it was nonetheless fun that eventually brought one of the most-awaited and fan-favorite fantastic creatures to life on the screen.
The Greens’ trailer shows yet another epic appearance of Seasmoke that has already been briefly introduced to the viewers before. Seasmoke was run by Ser Laenor Velaryon, Rhaenyra's first husband, and now, as the creators affirm, will be more than ready to join the fight as a matured dragon.
Other dragons that the fans have distinguished in both trailers are already not new in the House of the Dragon’s universe — Aemond’s dragon Vhagar, Daemon’s Caraxes, Rhaenyra’s Syrax, Baela’s Moondancer and Helaena’s Dreamfyre are also returning in the upcoming second season which is set to premiere on June 16.
