Film adaptations of books are often accused of deviating too much from the original text.

Sometimes, however, even the authors themselves admit that some parts of the adaptation changes are more successful than original.

Game of Thrones is famous for its characters, which are very well written, even if it is a minor hero. George R. R. Martin was often asked for his opinion on the show and the changes made by the show's creators.

In one of the interviews, the author admitted that he thinks one of his characters, Osha, is much more developed in the show than in the books.

Talking to Sky Atlantic, he said:

"The character in the book fulfills a certain function, but never mesmerized or made you just want to, you know, watch this character and learn more about this character and see more scenes with this character the way that Natalia does when she plays that role on screen."

Fans are in agreement that Osha has become a colorful character on the show who was really interesting to watch.

"I actually really appreciate how dynamic her character is from start to finish. She comes a long way from when we meet her," Reddit user madsaxappeal said.

In Game of Thrones, the role of Osha is played by British actress Natalia Tena. Much younger and more attractive than in the books, Osha attracts the attention of Theon Greyjoy.

She uses this directly during Greyjoy's capture of Winterfell: she offers herself to him and then, while Theon sleeps, organizes Bran and Rickon's false escape from the castle.

In the third season, while traveling with Bran and others, she tells the story of how she decided to escape beyond the Wall and why she does not want to go back: she once lived beyond the Wall with her husband.

One day he disappeared and returned with pale skin and blue eyes. He tried to kill her, but she escaped and burned him along with the hut.

Osha reappears in the sixth season. She tries to seduce Ramsay, hoping to get to the knife he used to peel his apple, but he gets to it first and plunges the knife into the wildling's throat.
