Breaking Bad definitely had its moments that made you want to facepalm.

Breaking Bad is often hailed as one of the greatest TV shows and a real masterpiece. While it’s mostly true, even the most ardent fans of the show will admit that it had its share of less-than-brilliant moments. Fans shared on Reddit some of those moments that felt a bit forced or out of character.

The Hank and Cousins Standoff

In one of the show’s more intense scenes, one of the cartel cousins chooses to fetch an axe instead of shooting Hank, giving Hank enough time to fight back. Some fans felt this was a bit too convenient and didn't align with the brutal, efficient nature of the cartel.

Walt’s Charity Dilemma

One fan pointed out that it seemed odd for Walter White, a man desperate to secure his family’s future, to be unwilling to use a charity website to launder his money. Given his dire circumstances, this decision stands out as particularly stubborn and prideful.

Explosive Entrance

Another moment that raised eyebrows was when Walt blew up Tuco’s hideout in broad daylight, with dozens of people around. As one fan noted, it was a bold move that felt very forced, especially since Walt walked out of the explosion without a scratch.

Gus’s Uncharacteristic Meeting

When street dealers shoot Combo and the conflict escalates, Gus has a direct, face-to-face meeting with two random street thugs, breaking his usual cautious demeanor. It's hard to believe that Gus Fring, portrayed as an extremely careful and calculated character, would do something like that.

Walt’s Perfect Aim

In the final episode, when Walt decides to kill the Nazis, Walt manages to place his car perfectly and use a machine gun to take down all of them without any prior surveillance. Some fans found this scene to be a bit too perfect and unbelievable, given Walt’s lack of combat experience.

The Badger Arrest Operation

One fan mentioned the scene where Walt interferes with Badger’s arrest operation. They found it implausible that Jesse could have made it onto the scene without being noticed by anyone.

Walt's Intentional Car Crash

In an attempt to divert Hank from getting closer to the truth at the laundry, Walt intentionally crashes his car, injuring both himself and Hank. Some fans felt that this drastic action was brushed off too quickly in subsequent scenes.
