The Real Housewives franchise was and still is a cultural phenomenon, with millions of fans tuning in weekly to enjoy a front-row seat to unscripted real-life situations, personal and professional drama, petty fights, and relationship turmoils experienced by housewives in various cities.

Each season of The Real Housewives becomes more glamorous and more scandalous, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta takes both the glamor and the scandal to the extreme, which is why it is one of the favorites of the franchise.

But whilst fans may be obsessed with the latest drama on the show, some of Bravo's stars are feeling like the "real" is missing from reality in RHOA.

Tamra Judge, a Real Housewives veteran, has questioned the authenticity of the first episode of the 14th season of RHOA during Two T's in a Pod podcast.

The storyline involved Drew Sidora's husband receiving a text from his assistant offering him a massage, which Tamara felt was repeated for attention, calling the entire storyline fake.

RHOA stars Kandi Burruss and Sanya Richards-Ross have called out multiple women on the show, and Drew's name was mentioned again for "acting" for the cameras, and intentionally causing feuds to gain attention. The pair felt that women would start fights amongst each other and with them to spice up the dynamic.

It has been alleged that the producers give the group topics to discuss with the intention of causing arguments, along with fallouts and the over-the-top meltdowns that other Bravo stars feel are all acts.

One Bravo producer has referred to what they called a show bible that they claimed to be "an actual fifty-page document that literally outlines every woman, every story they have, and the direction we think they're going to go."

Bravo maintains that none of the Real Housewives stars have to stick to any script.

Other claims involve Shereé Whitfield, who alleges that Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann's strong relationship on the show had fans fooled and that they were not even friends in real life. Walter Jackson, who featured as Kenya Moore's boyfriend on the first season of RHOA, later revealed that their relationship was fake.

It is no secret that reality shows are not 100% real, but with more and more Bravo stars calling out RHOA for being fake, fans may start to miss the raw, real moments that they have come to love. The show may be becoming more fictional than anything, which raises the question of how long it will be before fans start to lose interest.
