Who knew saving the Earth would be that easy?

You might think that a creature with such power and so many years of life experience like the Doctor would know all the tips and tricks of fighting all kinds of creatures. Especially the ones that he has a long history with.

Weeping Angels have been around in the new-school Doctor series since season 3, the story Blink with the Tenth Doctor, portrayed by David Tennant.

Ever since then they were described as one of the most powerful and merciless quantum creatures, that could've been stopped only by observing them.

But what if we told you, the issue with the Angels could be resolved much easier?

Although many are unhappy with how inconsistent the lore about these creatures is, fans are still discovering new ways of treating them. One of the latest ones suggests… a simple pair of sunglasses.

"I was thinking about this earlier, but if the Angels can't see your eyes, would they assume that you're always looking at them? Sunglasses, especially the darker ones, shades your eyes extraordinarily well. They might just assume you're looking at them through it," Redditor FrankSinatraHot said, explaining their idea to fellow Whovians.

While some agreed, remembering the Times of the Angel story, where Amy could not open her eyes and had to make it to the Doctor with them closed, but it was enough to pretend to see the Angels to not get killed by them.

Others, however, argue that according to what was mentioned in the series, it doesn't really matter if Angels think they're looked at or not.

It's the actual act of observation that holds them into place.

Whether or not sunglasses would actually help the Doctor and their companions to fight Weeping Angels is arguable.

What we can't doubt, however, is that the Doctor would definitely suit a pair of Ray-Bans to accompany their outfits.
