Fans have been craving to see him for a while now.

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'Obi-Wan Kenobi ' episode 6

Sometimes fan theories can predict the events of the original product just right, and this is exactly what happened with 'Star Wars ' fandom being confident that the 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' finale will feature Qui-Gon.

Well, guess what: Kenobi's mentor does indeed appear in the sixth and final episode. Liam Neeson has returned to reprise the role of the prequel trilogy's iconic Jedi – however, only as a force ghost, so there was no miraculous resurrection.

Qui-Gon also brought his attitude back: the very first thing he told Obi-Wan was a critical remark about how long it took Kenobi to communicate with him.

Many fans quickly took issue with what they deemed to be a plot hole. Since Qui-Gon died after being stabbed, people wondered how did the Grand Inquisitor, as well as Reva, managed to survive similarly fatal wounds and the Jedi Master failed to do the same.

But one fan on Twitter offered a logical explanation, reminding everyone that "revenge is not the Jedi way", which is why Qui-Gon apparently made peace with being dead, while the Sith survived to bring more evil into the world.

"It annoys me how everyone watching Kenobi is saying "How did Qui-gon not survive being stabbed in the stomach, but everyone else is". Your answer is in the show plus "Revenge is not the Jedi way". Hence why Qui-Gon died and the Sith survived." – @_Kxsper.

It's unclear whether Liam Neeson's iconic character will appear in any other 'Star Wars' projects as well, but should 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' be greenlit for another season, chances are this is not the last time we're seeing Master Qui-Gon Jinn.
