Bringing kids to life is a very mature decision that comes with a huge responsibility.

Because once you have them, you'll need to pay enough attention and raise them well. Or do you really?

The Young And The Restless characters actually have a lot of children. But we almost never see them. What's the reason, fans ask? There is no definite answer to that.

The writers of the show probably just didn't feel like describing a lot of children's stuff. That's why we never hear children's TV programs in the background when characters are at home. Or we never hear them saying they miss their kids.

The same works for the designers, who apparently decided not to put anything that can remind of a baby on the set. even where it's necessary. Like in Devon's apartment, where nothing even hints at Dominick's existence.

"I got bored during one of the scenes in Devon's apartment and caught myself looking at the stairs in the back and thinking how not baby proof they looked lol. Then I realized that there's basically no sign of Dom at all in his apartment.

No toys, no diapers, wipes, etc. Makes me wonder if the set designers know what it's like to have a baby living with you. When my great aunt finally got a grandkid you couldn't sit down in her car without sitting on a pacifier or bag of wipes lol," Reddit user Ladysupersizedbitch said.

Baby Dominick is about a year and a half old, so there is no way that a child of that age wouldn't have anything in the house.

One Thing Never Gets Served During Those Famous Blue Bloods Dinner Scenes

Another thing that disturbs fans is that the "parents" do not even seem to care about their children. So they spend the whole day at work and then instead of running home to their kids – they just hang out in bars.

We don't say it's bad to have some "me time" and spend it somewhere else. But on a daily basis? That's at least strange…

"My thing is, I get the nanny thing while they work or take care of important stuff. It's hard to get things done when your kids are very young without help and you can't work if no one is watching your kids for you.

That being said, these people never seem to MISS their kids and seem to rather be at the bar drowning their sorrows than at home reading their kid a book or going to the dance recital.

If they can't show the kids at least make it look like they are there (set wise) or talk about them more," Reddit user SophieMommy21 said.

Well it seems that the children dilemma really triggers The Young And The Restless fans. So maybe it's time to finally treat them like they deserve?
