No one, not even his family, believed that Sheldon would ever have a family of his own.

Well, he proved them wrong, but we aren't sure it was for the better.

Young Sheldon doesn't shy away from The Big Bang Theory 's Easter eggs. We got a glimpse at young TBBT characters in one episode, learned that Shamy has a son named Leonard in another, and more.

While we're happy that Amy and Sheldon are happy together and expanding their family, many are concerned about what kind of dad Sheldon is (considering how self-centered he is).

Chances are, not a very good one, and some fans come bearing proof.

In the season 5 episode, A Solo Peanut, a Social Butterfly and the Truth, adult Sheldon, the narrator, talks about how challenging parenting is and mentions that his son Leonard has taken up skateboarding.

Sheldon is disappointed in his son's choice of hobby, complaining about having to take him to the skate park.

This concerning commentary shows Sheldon's true colors, and we are happy he is not our dad, to be honest. Poor Leonard!

Later on, the season 6 episode, A New Weather Girl and a Stay-at-Home Coddler, only confirms our fears. In the episode, Sheldon has hurt his mom's feelings by saying that she is ruining his life.

Narrator Sheldon recalls that his kids say the same thing to him "all the time." If Sheldon were a good father, why would his children say that all the time?

We get that every kid has to rebel at some point, but it's the "all the time" part that creeps us out and makes us think that Sheldon may have turned out to be a terrible dad.

Some fans disagree and actually use the same statement as evidence that Sheldon is a good father. Prior to Sheldon's revelation, George tries to calm Mary down by saying that Sheldon's outburst is the first normal thing he's done.

Since Sheldon's kids end up blaming him for their misfortunes too (as children do), that actually means that he is doing something right – letting his kids be teenagers as they should.

That seems logical to us, so maybe Sheldon has truly grown up. Well, at least he has Amy, and she is definitely a great mom!

After all, she has managed to take care of the biggest baby in the world – Sheldon himself – and help him become a functioning adult.
