Diddy Went Full Heath Ledger's Joker for Halloween, And It Was Terrifying
Someone has just won Halloween.
American rapper Diddy has apparently gone all out on Halloween and threw an actual show, transforming into the iconic version of Joker that was portrayed by Heath Ledger. And that was just legitimately terrifying.
Diddy shared several pictures of the look on social media, adding that "it's not about the money, it's about sending the message" — an homage to Joker's iconic lines in The Dark Knight.
The final result is actually uncanny, because Diddy's Joker not only looks painfully similar to Ledger's, but the rapper also delivered a perfect performance and channeled the character's unhinged vibe.
In a video that has predictably gone viral, Diddy's Joker approaches Tyler the Creator's car to jokingly attempt to hijack it as Tyler looks impressed and actually a little bit scared.
Social media users were left stunned by Diddy's Halloween performance, praising his attention to detail and his acting skills.
"Not going to lie, you should put music on hold & get into acting. I honestly had no idea it was you at first," Twitter user KristenD0819 said.
Diddy got some serious acting under his belt, actually, although the rapper previously had a reputation of being fired from film productions. He was even nominated for 1 Primetime Emmy!
In fact, it looks like Diddy managed to honor pretty much every iconic Joker in his performance, not just the Ledger version.
"The fact that he gave it the Ledger look with the @MarkHamill transatlantic accent, the Nicholson menace and made it something his own is impressive," Twitter user JayJayBoogers noted.
Some, however, rather skeptically add that Diddy just won this Halloween by paying a vfx makeup artist to do his Halloween costume, and it's not at all about creativity on his part – it's all about the money.
On Halloween, many celebrities embark on a mission to deliver a spooky look and outdo everyone else, but it looks like Diddy, according to many fans, has "won" the holiday with his perfect combination of the outfit and acting.
After all, it's not an actual competition but rather a parade of fun and costumes, so why so serious?..
