Did You Think Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman Is Forever Gone? Not So Fast
The official merchandising of the upcoming DC movie could have probably just revealed information on the future of Wonder Woman in DC Universe. Let's dig in.
As the new The Flash movie approaches and with DC Universe now majorly revamped with James Gunn now at helm, the future of some previous characters and the actors portraying them is sometimes up for a discussion.
Some tidbits of information that are being unearthed might shed some light though. Case in point: DC Comics could just have majorly spoiled the future of Wonder Woman.
Instagram user nerdserviceeeee shared an image recently showing the apparent Funko Pop line designed for the upcoming The Flash movie. Included in it we can see Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman figure wielding her Lasso of Truth.
As fans remember, it has been disclosed back in December 2022 that Warner Bros. had chosen to remove DC Comics' Justice League heroine Wonder Woman, portrayed by Gal Gadot, from The Flash following the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3 earlier.
A second image, now shared by user funkoinfo_ offers a closer look at the new Funko Pop of DC Comics' Wonder Woman in the movie directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Ezra Miller.
The image we see is the same one posted by nerdserviceeeee, which raises the question of whether the Princess of Themyscira will actually appear in The Flash movie.
Of course this kind of news should be taken cautiously as reality might turn out to be very different, as Gal Gadot's character future in the new DC Universe is still far from being certain.
These Funko Pops do not explicitly confirm that Gal Gadot is going to appear in The Flash.
All things considered, the line was perhaps designed and created before the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3 and the news that it had been cut from the DC Comics multiverse blockbuster.
However, the door might still be open for a potential Wonder Woman cameo in the film. The moviegoers wouldn't be surprised if The Flash movie had some surprises up its sleeve.
