Desperate Housewives is one of the best shows ever created, and there are many things that prove it. For example, the show's cinematography is unique: it's literally one of the most stylish shows ever created.
Another thing, of course, is the storyline: the many twists and turns of the show are something that made it so unique. Even when you thought you knew the character, the writers managed to write them in a way you never expected. That's how the villains became angels and how the people you never expected to be on the bad side became evil.
One of the most impressive downfalls of the show was Orson. His life story in the show is quite interesting. Like almost all characters on the show, he had his secrets, but while we cringed a bit when he first appeared on the show, we came to love him because he turned out to be perfect for Bree.
Their couple was one of the best on the show, and many fans really wanted them to be endgame. But everything changed when Orson's character started to turn into some kind of maniac, making it literally impossible to root for him. But of course it wasn't his fault that the writers made him that way.
“If we are being honest with ourselves, Orson was the perfect husband! I also found it really weird that they turned him into such a malicious character. It all felt really out of place. Kyle MacLachlan's portrayal of Orson was flawless, whether he was in his good guy phase or the creepy, handicapped kleptomaniac phase. But all fans feel it was the worst transformation of the series, leaving the audience with an awkward feeling.
