Those who miss the Netflix show can go back and re-watch it, some Matt Murdock fans believe.

In the wake of the fresh rumors that MCU 's Daredevil show will not, in fact, receive a Mature rating, there are fans who are surprisingly cool with that.

While others have predictably gone ballistic (even though Marvel has not confirmed the rumor), there are still people who believe that a good story is the most important thing for Daredevil: Born Again, and this can be done with virtually any rating Disney Plus renders suitable for the show.

The rumor was initially shared by Marvel insider KC Walsh, who claimed that Daredevil "was never going to be" R-rated since Matt Murdock "isn't an R-rated character" and "anyone who's opened a comic can tell you that."

Many fans agree and are still going to watch the show "as long as Charlie [Cox] " is in the suit", but some concerns do inevitably arise.

"Could it be 16+ instead of 18+? If so, that's fine. But what boggles me is that 50% of Disney+ users are childless adults and the content they put there doesn't change despite that fact," Twitter user xlysistratax said.

Fans who insist that the quality is more important than the rating argue that "if the only thing that made the series good for you were the adult themes, then you don't actually like Daredevil, you just like adult themes."

Charlie Cox himself has teased that Daredevil: Born Again will be suitable for "a slightly more mature audience" than that of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where his character debuted in the MCU. According to the Matt Murdock actor, the upcoming show might be darker than what Marvel viewers were previously used to, but not too gory.

Daredevil: Born Again is set to hit Disney Plus in Spring 2024.
