Daredevil And Kingpin Are Reportedly Coming Back To MCU In Upcoming Disney+ Show
After Netflix's 'Daredevil' abruptly ended in 2018, fans of the Hell's Kitchen's blind attorney were left in limbo – there was no certainty if they would ever see Charlie Cox's hero again. 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' cameo changed everything.
Looks like Marvel is finally giving Netflix 's heroes a spotlight they deserve, adding some of them to MCU. According to Stacy Caballero, who worked on multiple MCU projects as an assistant costume designer, Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin will play a major part in Disney+ upcoming 'Echo' series, debuting next year.
Echo is widely known among fans as one of the Daredevil's closest allies, and her introduction to MCU was finally made a reality in last year 'Hawkeye '. Alaqua Cox will reprise her role as a Native American superhero.
Hopefully, Disney won't stray far away from Netflix's grittier approach to superheroes operating on a street level. The fans are certainly pretty hyped up about the return of fan-favorite characters.
