He spent 10 long years – from the age of 11 to 21 – starring in the franchise alongside his friends and colleagues. Daniel describes it as a heartbreaking and "bizarre" moment when they were done filming the final Harry Potter, and it was time to move on. Luckily for him, the actor had another project – The Woman in Black – he immediately needed to focus on. It helped him to get through this emotional time.

That's why when Daniel Radcliffe heard rumors that J.K.Rowling was writing another sequel to Harry Potter, he couldn't help but panic a little.

With the final Harry Potter film on the horizon, everyone wondered if J.K.Rowling would ever consider writing another book in the series. The author had an interview on Oprah where she didn't rule out such a possibility.

Radcliffe said that when he heard the rumors, he appreciated that Rowling gave fans something to look forward to, but he was also shocked at the prospect. According to Irish Examiner, he even texted Rowling asking if the rumors were true. But Rowling quickly set Daniel's worries at ease.

"She wrote back that she was so pleased with my performance in Harry Potter 7: Part 1 that as a reward, she promised to never write another book about Harry," Radcliffe explained, laughing.

Nevertheless, millions of fans would be happy to see Daniel Radcliffe return to the role of Harry Potter again and the actor is being asked about such prospects regularly in different interviews. So far, the actor maintains his decision to leave the Wizarding World behind in favor of other acting opportunities.

"I'm getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter OK and I'm really happy with where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life," he once told the New York Times. "I'm never going to say never, but the Star Wars guys had like 30, 40 years before they went back. For me, it's only been 10. It's not something I'm really interested in doing right now."
