The actor is loved and cherished by everyone… but still.

Friends had the perfect cast, and even now, almost 20 years after the last season aired, we still think that every character that ever appeared there was responsible for the show’s huge success.

During the sitcom’s 10-season-run, there were a whole bunch of guest-star cameos. Most of them were perfectly plotted, but there are still several episodes that are marked as the worst, and that's mainly because a cameo didn’t quite work out.

One of the cringiest cameos that took place in Friends was Brad Pitt’s, fans say. On paper, it was perfect. Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, and Pitt were Hollywood’s power couple at the time, and an attempt to use their real life chemistry on set wasn’t a bad one.

Viewers mentioned that even though Pitt was already a huge star and had already played the lead in many successful movies, his performance in Friends was just bad. It's one thing to play a creepy character, but it's quite another when the actor himself acts even creepier.

The choice of a character (Will Colbert from school who was bullied by Rachel at some point) to give Brad and the overall story of that episode were just too cringe-worthy.

“That whole story didn’t make a lot of sense to me and his lines were delivered in a bizarre way. But I get what they tried to do in the context of Jennifer and him being a power couple at the time. It was a huge event to have him guest star,” Redditor maesterSnufflePaws said.

But the worst thing about this cameo wasn't even Pitt's acting, it was the story behind his character. When Will and Ross started the "I Hate Rachel" club at school, they planted a rumor that Rachel Green had both male and female reproductive organs. And that caused quite a stir in the intersex community.

Some members of the community even contacted NBC to call out Friends' ignorance at the time. So Pitt's cameo may have been memorable for some, but it wasn't for purely positive reasons.
