Looks like the Criminal Minds case is about to get explosive… literally.

Criminal Minds fans, get ready to feel all the nostalgia! The highly anticipated return of the Paramount+ revival, titled "True Conviction," is set to stream on Thursday, Jan. 12 and promises to pick up right where things left off in the most heart-pounding way possible.

In case you need a refresher (no shame, it's been a while since the last episode aired), the last we saw of JJ and Luke (played by A.J. Cook and Adam Rodriguez), they were walking into a booby-trapped bunker in Whitfield County, GA, and the bodycam signals suddenly went dark. It seemed like the explosion had exposed the true mastermind behind Sicarius, but as we know with Criminal Minds, nothing is ever as it seems.

But don't worry, the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) is on the case and determined to seek the truth. In the teaser video released for the midseason premiere, we see Prentiss (Paget Brewster) and the team rushing out of the BAU to figure out what happened to their silenced agents. And in a moment that is sure to give fans all the feels, Emily, with her signature smirk, utters the iconic phrase "Wheels up."

It's no surprise that fans are excited for this callback to the original series. One fan exclaimed, "The 'wheels up' actually brought tears to my eyes and I have no idea why. I missed it so much." Another added, "that wheels up made me actually tear up, I didn't know how much I missed it til now."

But it's not all nostalgia and happy tears for fans. Some are worried about the fate of Luke, with one fan stating, "If anything really bad happens to Luke Alvez, then you all better go into hiding." Another added, "okay, now we know JJ is still alive, but um, where the hell is Luke?"

We'll have to wait another week to find out what happens to our favorite BAU agents, but one thing is for sure: Criminal Minds fans cannot wait for Jan. 12 to roll around. As one fan put it, "No more breaks allowed! You're just too missed. Wheels up."
