Creed Bratton from The Office Was Smoking Hot in His Youth
Creed is easily one of the most unpredictable characters in the series, right? Well, you're in for a ride!
First things first, we bet you didn't know that Creed Bratton actually played himself in The Office. That's right, the actor's real name is also Creed Bratton!
The show premiered in 2005 when the actor was 62 years old. There is a meme circulating on Instagram that shows what Bratton looked like in his youth… and he was quite the hottie!
The surprises don't stop there. In the late 1960s, Creed was a member of the rock band, The Grass Roots (he played the lead guitar and wrote some of the songs).
The band is actually still going strong today, although none of the original members are active. In the 2000s, Bratton went solo, releasing eight albums (the last one in 2020).
In 2005, he joined The Office in a recurring role. In a deleted scene from the season 2 episode, Booze Cruise, Creed actually talks about his time with The Grass Roots while jamming out with a guitar. Priceless!
Just look at Michael in the beginning. He can't stand the fact that everyone is fascinated by Creed's musical talent.
The last scene where Bratton tells us about his unusually short attention span (due to drugs) just brings us back to The Office's reality (just when we almost believed that we were watching a documentary about Creed's life).
Bratton began his acting career in 1975, and he has had small roles in movies and shows for decades, but none have made him as famous as his iconic role on The Office, which earned him five noms for the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and one win in this category. Not bad at all!
Creed is now 80 years old, but he shows no signs of slowing down career-wise. He released his latest album, Slightly Altered, in 2020.
In the same year, he voiced a character in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and appeared as Rupert Tilford in an episode of Upload.
