This theory determines Kendall's destiny in the weirdest way possible.

Succession is as close to its finale as ever before, and fans keep speculating on what we might see in the final episode of season 4.

Some of the theories imply a relatively happy ending, while others don't seem to have as much optimism, especially given some of the actors' statements about the finale. But one Reddit user shared a theory that is arguably the wildest so far.

The theory suggests that Kendall Roy will meet his end in a way that is somewhat similar to the story that happened to Michael Rockefeller.

Now for those unfamiliar, Michael Rockefeller, the grandson of American financier John Rockefeller, disappeared at the age of 23 in New Guinea while he was on an expedition. His body has never been found.

In the beginning, the reports painted a grim picture, suggesting that Rockefeller met his demise either by drowning or by falling victim to a ruthless shark assault.

Nevertheless, in light of the persisting practices of headhunting and cannibalism observed in that area, alternative theories have emerged.

It was speculated that Rockefeller's fate might have been far more sinister, involving his untimely demise at the hands of the tribes, followed by the act of eating his remains.

So how can this be even remotely connected to Succession? Well, the theory suggests that Kendall, for some reason, will go to New Guinea with a group of anthropologists.

Their boat will supposedly capsize and Kendall will have to swim to shore where he will be cannibalized by a local tribe.

As a possible confirmation of the theory, the user mentions that the promotion poster resembles the deck of a boat and there is a plane visible in the reflection of the building in the background.

Moreover, throughout the series Kendall is sometimes in water that may hint to his death being related to water.

Fans absolutely loved the theory while not taking it too seriously. Evidently, that is very unlikely to happen on the show, but isn't it just hilarious when people manage to find the most bizarre and absurd connections?
