Chris North's Bishop Is Finally Out From 'The Equalizer', How Did The Writers Pulled It Off?
Chris North's accusations of sexual assault came as a surprise to many fans, leading to his dismissal from several shows, including CBS's 'The Equalizer'. But of course, when it comes to long-running cable shows, you can't just write the character off and be done with it. So how did 'The Equalizer' writers actually pull it off?

Chris North last on-screen presence was way back in the January 2 episode 'Separated', but despite his removal from the show, his character William Bishop continued to exist till yesterday. The episode titled 'Pulse' centers on the confrontation between Robyn McCall (Queen Latifah) and a dangerous man going by the name of Mason Quinn (Chris Vance) who once tried to kill her.
McCall tries to seek help from Bishop (he was sent to Europe on a top-secret mission), which results in him being blown up in his private plane. This unfortunate death of protagonist's mentor is later revealed to be Quinn's doing.
Apparently, the show's creative team decided to see North off with a bang. And it's not just a figure of speech.
Chris North, star of 'Sex and the City ' and 'The Good Wife ', is unlikely to get new acting gigs anytime soon, given that he denies the allegations.
