Characters Who May Be Brought Back In The Walking Dead's Spinoffs
Some characters from The Walking Dead Universe never had a proper ending to their story. This might change in the forthcoming spinoffs.
Currently, three upcoming shows have been officially announced to extend the narrative beyond the conclusion of The Walking Dead series.
These shows include The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and Rick & Michonne.
It is conceivable that we may witness the return of other recognizable characters in these spinoff series. Let's remember the most expected ones.
Virgil
After Virgil successfully rescued Connie, he did not make any further appearances after the first part of season 11.
While it's possible that Virgil integrated himself into Alexandria, his ultimate fate is still a mystery. Including him in a spinoff would explore his fate after the finale of the original show.
Jadis
The Walking Dead: World Beyond carried forward Jadis' narrative by showcasing her as an operative of CRM. However, there are still untapped possibilities with Jadis, especially considering her history with Rick.
Given her past involvement with Rick, it's conceivable that she may resurface in his show.
Heath
Corey Hawkins, the actor who played Heat, abruptly left the show because of 24: A New Legacy, a short-lived series that was a priority for him.
Considering Angela Kang's previous confirmation that the CRM took Heath, it stands to reason that he is highly likely to make a comeback in the spinoff, which focuses on Rick and Michonne.
In its third season, Qaletaqa Walker made a remarkable impact on Fear the Walking Dead, captivating audiences. Nevertheless, the series chose to bid farewell to him by the conclusion of the season.
The character quickly became a fan favorite. So there remains a chance for him to join one of the spinoff shows.
Proctor John
Despite appearing in only a handful of episodes, Proctor John, the main villain in the later part of Season 3 of FTWD, left a lasting impression with his formidable presence.
After the dam explosion, the fate of this cunning and intimidating villain remains uncertain, leaving the door open for his return as the antagonist in one of the forthcoming spinoffs.
