Carnival Row Series Finale is a Game of Thrones-Level Disappointment

Even when a show loses quality or becomes a disappointment, fans rarely leave their favorite series.
A fandom is usually extremely loyal to its show, cast, and crew, and will watch their favorite series to the end, no matter how painful it may be.
Well, Carnival Row seems to be on the verge of becoming an exception, even though it's already over.
"I'm at episode 8 and I can't take anymore. It's just a total sh*tshow. What a disappointment," Redditor phillygirllovesbagel said, marking the exact episode where they've given up season 2 of the Carnival Row.
It's hard to imagine Riverdale fans leaving the show in the middle of a season because of its absurdity, or Game of Thrones fans ignoring the ending even if they don't agree with it.
Carnival Row did the unthinkable and caused their fanbase to leave the show early.
What once started out as a beautiful Victorian gothic steampunk series with big names like Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in the cast turned out to be a true disaster in the TV world compared in the eyes of fans only to Game of Thrones ending.
Disappointed viewers themselves tend to explain the difference between Season 1 and Season 2 by drastic changes in the writing team, which all left after the first season.
This caused the writing to be lazy and incoherent to the storylines of the first season. There were no official comments from Amazon Studios or the Season 1 writers themselves.
All fans know at this point is that their favorite show has been horribly affected by "creative differences", and no-one wants to take responsibility for it.
The good thing is, there will be no more suffering from the seasons "written by drugged toddlers", as season 2 of Carnival Row was declared the last of it the same day it was renewed.
