Bye, Justin Roiland: Fans Excited For The Actor’s Replacement On Solar Opposites 

After Justin Roiland, the co-creator and voice actor of the hit animated TV shows Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites, found himself in the middle of a controversy due to allegations of domestic violence, he was immediately dropped from the aforementioned projects, leaving fans wondering who would end up replacing the troubled actor.

And even though the charges were eventually dismissed due to insufficient evidence, Roiland wasn't asked to return, leaving the question unanswered until now.

It seems that Korvo, one of the main characters in the Solar Opposites TV series, will now be voiced by Dan Stevens, who you may know from a variety of roles, with perhaps the most notable being David Haller in Legion and Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey shows.

The creators even addressed the sudden change directly in a new teaser for the upcoming season 4.

However, who will replace Justin as the voice of Rick and Morty Smith (where he voiced both characters, as well as several others) in the series of the same name remains unknown for now.

Fans seem to be excited about the choice of the new actor on Solar Opposites and how it was cleverly explained within the story so that Stevens wouldn't have to try to replicate Roiland's voice.

They say that Dan Stevens is an extremely talented actor who has done some fantastic voice work, and it even feels like an upgrade rather than a "second-best option."

Now all that remains to be seen is who will be the new Rick and Morty, with some even suggesting H. Jon Benjamin, who has appeared in many shows including Bob's Burgers, The Simpsons, American Dad! and others, to voice the grumpy scientist.

Solar Opposites follows a family of aliens who come to colonize Earth and their daily adventures in the new world. Season 4 will premiere on August 14, 2023.
