What Did Jonathan Bailey Take From Bridgerton Set?

One thing about Bridgerton is that the show never misses a chance for a hot scene. Throughout both seasons, viewers have been completely excited by the tension portrayed by the romantic leads.

Because such scenes require not only a lot of choreography, but also a completely comfortable environment, all of the actors have access to modesty garments to cover themselves in a discreet way. While this certainly helps to create the safest environment possible, it can also lead to some ridiculous stories.

Bridgerton's own Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, Jonathan Bailey, isn't afraid to laugh at himself. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, he reflected on the most embarrassing scene he filmed for the show and its awkward aftermath.

Turns out, all those steamy moments with his on-screen partner Simone Ashley were a lot more comfortable than a bathtub shot where he was forced to sit with a camera pointed at him from between his legs.

“I went to a pub that night and had a pint with my mates. When I got up to get the second round, I was like, 'I'm chafing a bit.' And I realized I still had my modesty thong on, because I was so traumatized and I ran so quickly from set that I hadn't even taken off my little pouch. I still have it to this day,” the actor admitted.

Although the nude scenes are understandably not the easiest to film, fans cannot help but admire them. Now that the third season of television's juiciest period drama is about to premiere, viewers are hoping for even more reasons to blush.
