The Bold and the Beautiful is one of the most long-running soap operas in television history, having produced over 8000 episodes since 1987.

As expected, many cast members have come and gone throughout the years, and it's not uncommon for gossip to swirl around them online. However, fans of the show have been speculating about a rumor that one of the show's stars had been keeping a secret talent under wraps. At last, the person in question has addressed this and revealed the truth.

For many years, millions of B&B viewers have been following the journeys of their favorite characters and all the drama that surrounds them. But in addition to their fictional lives, fans also have burning questions regarding the actors' real lives.

For that exact reason, an official B&B talk show called Bold Live was launched on YouTube. It's hosted by the soap opera's supervising producer and fans from all over the world can simply pick up their phones and chat to cast members live. This has allowed them to get answers to any questions they may have, and one fan used this opportunity to uncover the truth behind a rumor involving Don Diamont.

Diamont joined the cast in the role of Bill Spencer Jr. back in 2009 and has been a staple on the series ever since. However, besides acting, he has been rumored to have a certain secret skill.

So, when the star was answering some questions live on the show, a caller reached out, wanting to know if there was any truth in talks of Diamont being interested in scriptwriting around the time when he was first brought on board. The fan then proceeded to ask whether the actor would prefer to create a storyline that is dramatic or one with a comedic tone if he had the chance.

Diamont replied that he tries to add comedy to Bill and convey the character's personality, especially in the scenes that involve Bill's kids. However, he denied ever having any urge to take on the role of a scriptwriter. In fact, he was even surprised to hear that a rumor like this exists as it was the first time he was hearing of this.

"I've never heard that before, I don't know where that came from," he revealed.

Well, it turns out the real culprit behind these claims is none other than Wikipedia, according to which it was Bradley Bell, the head writer and producer of the soap, who apparently said upon signing Diamont that the actor has a wide range of talent and stated, "It is my pleasure to welcome him to B&B. He has also expressed an interest in being a scriptwriter."

It's uncertain whether Bell had, in fact, made the statement or not. However, Don Diamont himself has now provided clarity on the matter.
