Even the best shows don't always go the way they should, and Breaking Bad is no exception.

The series was made with its own flaws, and the most observant viewers noticed them.

Redditor Blue_Reminiscence wrote a whole page about the dumbest mistake Walt made in the final season of Breaking Bad.

The fan describes the moment when Walt robs the police evidence room to take back the laptop that contained tons of Gus' videos with the room where the drug was made.

The Redditor notes if the tapes were revealed, Gus would face execution, but Fring kept the laptop on his desk at Los Pollos Hermanos as if nothing special was stored there.

The user still can't believe that the most selective villain in the entire series could be so stupid.

The records were probably encrypted. And if the audience can understand the indignation of Jesse, who was never known for his intelligence, or Mike, who is not particularly tech-savvy, then Walter just acted incredibly stupid.

However, the Ehrmantraut fans can't forgive such behavior, because the head of security should know how to handle confidential information.

Still, the biggest complaint is against Walt. The show's creators always talk about him as the greatest and smartest man of our time.

And even though his degree isn't directly related to technology, it's hard to imagine that Mr. White isn't familiar with encryption technology. Especially considering Heisenberg managed to hide his shady dealings from the family for so long.

Apparently, Walt didn't get it after all, because he decided on such a dangerous and ridiculous plan to wipe the laptop in the police room.

And while the evidence was being destroyed, the protagonists managed to smash a photo of Gus and his lover Max.

This revealed to law enforcement the shady bank details of Madrigal's company, through which drug money was being laundered.

This led to a series of events that culminated in a warrant for Mike's arrest and subsequent death. Walt's life and those closest to him were turned upside down in the aftermath of the robbery.

Of course, many defend Heisenberg by saying the photo moment was unintentional, but even Hank, his brother-in-law who works for the DEA, confirmed that the laptop was encrypted.

So the robbery was definitely worthless. If nothing else, it confirms the show's idea: we all get what we deserve.
