Beware: this story will make you want to start a Harry Potter marathon.

It seems like there is no person in the world who didn't know about Harry Potter.

After being released in the late '90s, both the books and the movies became a kids' staple and one of the biggest magical stories in the world.

However, fans' minds were blown when the news broke that one of the franchise leads, Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy, has never seen all Harry Potter movies properly.

This conversation came up naturally during the interview on CapitalFM, when one of the hosts admitted to having never seen one Harry Potter movie. The conversation could've gotten awkward really fast if Felton himself didn't reveal the same.

"To be honest with you, if it makes you feel any better, I haven't actually rewatched the films properly," the actor said, laughing alongside the group.

The reasoning, however, made everyone quickly switch from shock to awe: Felton revealed that he didn't watch the movies back-to-back to save the experience, because he wants to go through it with his own children one day.

The actor is yet to have kids, but this seems like the perfect scenario to relive the magic of the story all over again, this time on the other side of the screen.

What makes the story even funnier is the fact that Felton managed to get the part of Draco Malfoy without knowing anything about the books.

He had confessed to lying at the audition earlier at the same interview, saying he did not understand the impact the story would have at the time.

Perhaps, his confidence in trying for the part he did not know anything of, was the thing that made him perfect for the role.

As inspiring as the story of Felton's success is, we believe the movies are too iconic not to watch them. If you are in the mood for the Harry Potter movie night, you can stream all films back to back on HBO Max, Peacock, or FuboTV.
