Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are two of the most popular TV series to have ever aired.

On the surface, these two series may seem very different. But if you take a closer look, you'll find that they have some common ground.

Fans think that Robert Baratheon from Game of Thrones is an incarnation of Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad 's Don Eladio.

Don Eladio seems unlikely to be a cartel leader compared to his high-level counterparts. He lives a luxurious lifestyle, smoking and lounging by the pool, reminiscent of a patron who runs the club in the criminal neighborhood.

Juan Bolsa, on the other hand, is pragmatic and professional. He acts as a liaison between the cartel and Gus Fring, the owner of a chain of fried chicken restaurants who secretly runs a methamphetamine empire.

Bolsa is portrayed as a cunning and ruthless individual who is willing to do whatever it takes to protect the cartel's interests.

Another example is Hector Salamanca. He is depicted as a cold-blooded killer who is confined to a wheelchair after suffering a stroke. Despite his physical limitations, Hector remains a formidable figure in the show's universe.

And Don Eladio possesses none of the ruthless ambition necessary to rise to the top. Although he co-founded the cartel with Hector and Bolsa, he seems more like a trust-fund kid who was handed the position.

It is unclear how the other bosses are satisfied with his lack of action while reaping the benefits.

It was Bolsa who kept the war between Fring and Salamanca at bay for a long time, but Eladio's inability to watch over his men led to the deaths of all the cartel members.

It is possible that Don Eladio is a skilled hustler with a firm knowledge of cartel politics, but it does not excuse his failures. He seems more like a Robert Baratheon type who has seized power but doesn't know how to wield it.

However, some fans disagree with this interpretation, claiming that one does not have to be physically strong, cunning, and unpredictable. Don Eladio was a longtime cartel troubleshooter and knew who to count on.

He helped deal with the DEA and other groups in the area, and gained a large chunk of territory in Albuquerque for his organization.
