Beth Once Again Single-Handedly Saved Yellowstone - With a Drunken Fight No Less
It seems that with each new episode, Yellowstone gets more and more boring – only for Beth to zhuzh things up.
Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 3 was pretty boring to begin with, but maybe the only reason we still have Beth in there is so she can finally make things interesting.
But even her way of saving the episode from boredom was quite predictable. If you really know Beth well, you might have already guessed what happened. Because yes, she once again smashed a bottle over someone's head at the bar.
It began with a seemingly innocent gathering at the Crystal Bar in Bozeman to celebrate Lloyd's 70th birthday. Everything was going smoothly and, like everything in this episode, pretty boring, but then a drunk girl started hitting on Rip, who told her that his wife was actually watching. The girl – her mistake – approached Beth, and the next second, a drunken brawl broke out.
"As soon as I saw that bottle in Beth's hand I said out loud 'That b**ch about to get glassed' and 5 seconds later bam," one Redditor noted.
In fact, the whole scene looked like a setup for Beth to go to jail, since she was taken into custody at the end of the episode. Even Rip's warning about the sheriff arresting the governor's daughter did not save Beth from jail. But her outburst saved the whole episode, and you have to admit that even if you are a Beth hater.
In fact, it was one of the few unpredictable things about the episode, and fans noted that Beth dealing with the consequences of her actions was something new. It seems that many people are happy to see her end up in prison, and are even willing to "hate watch" the spin-off where Beth tries to dominate everyone in prison.
Still, Beth remains one of the most hated characters in Yellowstone, even though she started out with a pretty solid fan base. However, the lack of any change in her character has turned off many fans, and now people are begging to "see less of Beth" because they are tired of her being a horrible person instead of a strong female character.
Yellowstone Season 5 premiered on November 13th on the Paramount Network. The season will consist of 14 episodes.
