It's pretty tough to pick the best season out of so many good ones, huh?

The popular spin-off series Better Call Saul has become a fan favorite for its compelling storylines and complex characters.

While each season of the show has been well received by fans and critics alike, there is one installment in particular that many fans consider to be the best of the bunch.

And that choice is undeniably season 4. One of the outstanding aspects of the chapter is the development of the relationship between Jimmy and Kim Wexler.

Their love story has been a slow burn throughout the series, but in this episode their relationship takes a dark turn as Jimmy becomes increasingly unreliable and manipulative.

Another reason fans love season 4 is the way it builds on the groundwork laid in previous seasons. We see Jimmy McGill transforms into the slimy, morally ambiguous lawyer we know and love from Breaking Bad.

The show doesn't rush this transition, allowing it to happen organically over the course of the chapter.

This slow-burn approach is also evident in the series' treatment of some of its other characters. Mike Ehrmantraut, for example, is given a more prominent role this season, and his pre-Breaking Bad story is explored in greater detail.

Fans get to see different sides of Mike, and it's fascinating to watch his journey unfold.

What fans like best is the idea of Jimmy becoming Saul. The younger McGill has turned his grief over the loss of his brother into the infamous Mr. Goodman.

Also, Mr. Ehrmantraut, on Gus' orders, kills Werner, a sweet and very much in love simpleton. This event finally turns Mike into a weapon in the hands of the cartel we see in Breaking Bad.

And S4E10 Winner is still one of the best episodes for fans. Many praise the karaoke moment, where the showrunners once again handled the confrontation between Chuck and Jimmy in a very elegant way.

Despite the critical acclaim and fan love for season 4, it has often been overshadowed by the more explosive and action-packed chapters that followed.

However, many fans believe that this installment is the best because it focuses on the emotional journey of the characters.
